The Hub sponsored a farm tour of Huron County for newcomers this fall.
We enjoyed visits to Harm-N-E Longhorns for a closeup look at Texas longhorn cattle; Weth Mushrooms for a talk on how mushrooms are grown and harvested; Malette Family Farm where we petted alpacas; and Meeting Place Organic Farm, to see pigs, flowers and a special performance from the Blyth Festival.
It was a fun day, with perfect weather!
